Fond Farewell to Ms Gregson

It has been a genuine privilege to have Ms Sandra Gregson join the staff from Canada this year, on an exchange with Miss Phillips. Ms Gregson has brought so much talent, expertise and inspiration to Sciennes and her Primary 5B class, as well as our Eco Group. Thank you to Adele and Ben's mum Michelle and other parents from the class for organising a lovely surprise party and we all wish Ms Gregson a safe journey. We hope that she will always keep in touch and one day come back to visit. And thank you for all the blog posts!

P5B pupils gave a special thank you message at our End of Term Assembly.

P5 CYCLES IN THE MEADOWS AND QUARTERMILE

The P5 classes cycled around The Meadows and Quartermile this week as a grand finish to their cycling workshops. For some, the cycle included a tour of the tree which Danny MacAskill biked up!
Thanks again to Ms Christie for organizing and to the wonderful cycle leaders.

CYCLING TRAINING

The P5 classes started cycling training. Organised by Ms Christie, the students worked with four biking experts, to first get ready for cycling by checking their tyre pressure and brakes, and fitting their helmets. Then they tried different stations to develop balance, agility, steering, and safety skills riding.
